House of Cosmo: Crafting otherworldly fragrance realities with CGI
House of Cosmo’s motto is “Explore the future through scent.” They’re visionary and dead set on futuristic concepts. They reject traditional inspirations. Their scents ‘New Eden’ and ‘Luna Minerale’ are designed to evoke a completely new olfactory experience.
The challenge: Translating a futuristic vision into photorealism
House of Cosmo needed foundational CGI product shots for their upcoming December convention. It goes without saying, they needed to be top-notch. This was a brand-building challenge. The core task was thus to create visuals that felt like artistic, physical photography (definitely not sterile renders). HoC wanted to showcase concepts like an Eden-like garden or a mineralic moonscape. Otherworldly, yes, but crucially, the images couldn’t be “too perfect” either. True realism (as always) comes from mastering imperfection. So our client needed a partner with technical mastery and serious artistic sensitivity.
The process: An iterative journey of creative evolution
Our process is built on agile, frequent collaboration. This proved vital when early concepts of floating bottles missed the mark. The client’s feedback was as straightforward as it gets: none of the revisions appealed to them. This triggered a full creative pivot: our artists suggested grounding the products in more tangible worlds. This pivot meant intense collaboration, with tiny feedback rounds dedicated to each detail (from the subtle gradient of the glass to achieve 80-90% opacity, to dialing in the texture of the matte silver foil logo, and nailing that atmospheric lighting that made each scene feel palpable). For ‘New Eden,’ we ended up making an alien forest that was “out of this world” but not “too Avatar.” Finally, we fine-tuned flower colors from pink to white and light blue (as the client pointed out, this is a genderless fragrance).
The outcome: A universe of stunning, brand-defining visuals

This gallery gives you the final CGI hero images for the House of Cosmo line. Every single visual was made with care and precision because we want to show the unique world and concept behind each fragrance.
Podcast: Behind the render
This collaboration proved the core of CGI philosophy: that true photorealism comes from nailing those subtle, camera-like imperfections. Think bokeh, light fringing, and chromatic aberration. These details (just to name a few!) bridge the gap between a sterile render and an authentic visual that tugs at our heartstrings.
